Northborough – New Location Update 2/15/2012!!!

We are on schedule. Boost Fitness Northborough will be closed on Thursday and Friday (2/16 and 2/17) as we move. The club will re-open on Saturday 2/18 at 6AM in the new location.

Biggest Mover – Week #3

Two weeks ago, we launched our new programming and kicked off the Biggest Mover contest!  It has been amazing to see so many people in class, making new friends and making fitness gains!  We sincerely hope that you are enjoying your experience getting to know our different classes, different instructors, and other Movers!  Our challenge to you this week is to reach out and make a new friend- if you’ve been coming to Boost for years or even if you just started this month- exercising is far more fun when we do it with friends!

Boost Fitness will be participating in the 2012 American Cancer Society’s Spin for Hope

On Sunday, March 4th we will be participating in the 2012 American Cancer Society’s Spin for Hope!  Boost Fitness has been approved as a host club and we are excited about this opportunity to get involved in our community!

“Spin for Hope is a three hour indoor cycling event for a great cause- the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer. Participate individually and cycle for the full three hours, or form a team and take turns cycling.

Participants cycling the entire three hours should strive to raise at least $300. Those registering as part of a team should strive to raise $100 each.”

Q&A – The Biggest Mover Contest!

The Biggest Mover contest begins this Saturday and we are excited to have you join us!

We’ve had a lot of questions concerning all the in’s and out’s of the program, so I will attempt to answer all your Mover related questions here!  If after reading through this information, you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to email me back!

Q- When does my card need to be in the drop box?

A- To be eligible for the weekly raffle drawing, your card needs to be in the drop box by the end of the day on Sunday.  (there is not a raffle drawing this weekend- the first drawing will be Mon. Feb 6th)

Q-Do I get a new punch card each week?

A- Yes, you can find the Biggest Mover cards on the table with our Biggest Mover board.  You will only need one card a week.  Please make sure that you write your full name and email or phone number on the back of each weeks card.  In order for me to accurately track points and award weekly prizes, I need to make sure I am recording for the correct Kelli/Nancy/Joe/Tynel :)

Q- Does my card need to be full in order to win the weekly raffle?

A- No, as long as you have attended one class and your card is in the box, you are eligible to win!

Q-How can I earn more points?

A- You can earn 5 points a week by attending Group Fitness Classes (one point per class).  Your instructor will initial off a number on your card at the end of each class you take.  You can also earn points by referring your friends to join the gym or by bringing a friend to class.  Pick up a referral card from the Biggest Mover table and fill your name in on the “Referred By” line.  Bring a friend to class with you and have the instructor sign the card after class.  Put this card in the box and you’ll earn 3 points.  Or, take a referral card and give it to your friend/family/co-worker.  If they bring it in and join the gym anytime before March 31st, you will earn 5 additional points.  You are welcome to refer everyone you know!!  There is no limit to the number of referral points you can earn!

Q- Do I mark off my name on the Biggest Mover poster when I come in to class?

A- Nope, we will handle that for you.  Every Monday, when the weekly raffle prize is awarded, we will also update the ‘scoreboard’.  You’ll have a clear view of how many points you have and who the weekly raffle winner is when you come to the gym Monday night/Tuesday morning!

Q- Can my friends still join the Biggest Mover contest, once the contest has already started?

A-Yes!  Sign ups for the Biggest Mover will be on-going.  The purpose of this contest is to get more people moving, create a fun environment in which to exercise, and build healthy habits!  So, invite your friends to the gym, invite them to class, and together we can change lives!

Q- I’m participating in the program, but I don’t see my name on the Biggest Mover poster.  Who do I need to talk to?

A- Me!  Send me back an email and let me know!  I will get it on the board ASAP!

Each Monday, I will be sending out an email with the name of our weekly raffle prize winner, along with an attached flyer with information to help you get moving!

Boost Fitness in Northborough is now offering two classes a night – Monday through Thursday to keep up with your demand. Classes are now available at 5:45 PM and 7PM.
